Head of Events

Trust Square is an innovation hub located at Zurich Bahnhofstrasse, dedicated to fostering collaboration and driving innovation in the tech industry. Our goal is to bring together academia, startups, corporates, and technology providers to address today's and tomorrow's business challenges.
We are seeking a skilled Head of Events to join our team and design and execute our event strategy, creating memorable experiences that strengthen our ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in designing and executing successful B2B events, with experience in tech industry events, preferably in innovation or startup ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and implement Trust Square's annual event strategy and programming calendar jointly with the leadership team
- Lead the planning and execution of flagship conferences, expert panels, and hackathons
- Build and maintain relationships with speakers, sponsors, and industry partners
- Manage event budgets, timelines, and resources effectively
- Coordinate with marketing to ensure strong event promotion and attendance
- Oversee venue management, technical setup, and event operations
- Measure and report on event success metrics and ROI
- Guide and develop the events team
- 5+ years of experience in tech event management or similar role
- Strong track record in designing and executing successful B2B events
- Experience in tech industry events, preferably in innovation or startup ecosystems
- Outstanding project management and organizational abilities
- Excellent network in the Swiss/European tech community
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent in German and English, with exceptional communication abilities
- Budget management experience
- Leadership experience in managing teams and external partners
