Head of Strategic Initiatives

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our Group Communications and Public Affairs team as a Head of Strategic Initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive thought leadership strategy that aligns with our corporate communications goals and enhances our brand's reputation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a robust thought leadership strategy that aligns with our corporate communications goals
  • Identify content gaps and opportunities to showcase our expertise and leadership in areas crucial to our clients
  • Select and manage external partners to deliver impactful research, platforms, and events
  • Build and nurture strong partnerships with key business stakeholders on content development
  • Work closely with the broader communications and public affairs team on targeted activation initiatives

Requirements:

  • Proven background in corporate communications and thought leadership
  • Experience working with or in public policy, politics or related fields
  • Industry knowledge in insurance (Life and GI) or wider financial services sector
  • Demonstrated ability to innovate and deliver impactful thought leadership initiatives
  • Management experience with proven ability to build coalitions and work in partnership across functions
