Job DescriptionYour new role will be part of a small yet excellent team responsible for the complete development platform for customer projects, some of which are highly sensitive.
You will ensure the stable and secure operation of infrastructure, applications, and services offered to customers and projects. Your close collaboration with development teams and security office is essential.
Beyond daily operational activities, you will have opportunities to expand and further develop server infrastructures, actively participating in projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications- A degree in computer science with a focus on platform development or comparable education is required. Higher professional qualifications or certificates confirming skills are ideal.
- You must possess creative problem-solving skills, having experience in virtualized IT environments, and the ability to quickly adapt to unfamiliar situations.
- Proven troubleshooting skills for complex, multi-layered applications are necessary, as well as experience with working in teams, sharing knowledge, and operating IT infrastructures holistically.
- Familiarity with server virtualization using VMware and Hyper-V, as well as administering physical Cisco switches and firewalls, is crucial.
- Knowledge of terminal servers, remote desktops, Linux (Ubuntu and RedHat), and IT operation tools (Lansweeper and PRTG) is also required.
- Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken, are essential for communication and documentation.
- Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, SVN, or Git is beneficial.
- Automation and deployment with Ansible, Microsoft MDT, or MECM are desirable.
- Database server administration of MySQL, Postgres, or MS SQL Server is advantageous.
- Knowledge of security management systems like Tenable, ELK, or Splunk is also welcome.
- Familiarity with virtualized networks and hyper-converged infrastructures (e.g., Cisco HX or Nutanix) is an added advantage.
