Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate business opportunities and work closely with leadership to assess and prioritize new growth initiatives
- Lead strategic projects, including bid preparation, contract negotiations, and customer onboarding
- Cross-functional collaboration with finance, legal, and product teams to identify risks and opportunities
- Project management, ensuring timely and efficient delivery, tracking KPIs, and maintaining accountability within the team
- Engage with key stakeholders, including senior leaders at pharmaceutical companies and other major stakeholders
- Team management, overseeing the work and development of a team of Business Development analysts
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field; MBA preferred
- 5-8 years of experience in healthcare or a related field, with 1-2 years of management experience, including direct reports
- Strong project management expertise, with a background in contract negotiations
- Proven leadership and mentoring abilities, with experience in managing high-performing teams
- Understanding of the U.S. health system, its different stakeholder groups, and the impact of market events on the ecosystem
