We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing a sales strategy to meet sales targets, negotiating sales, package discounts, and long-term contracts with new and existing clients, and increasing our network and pool of clients.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT sales, with a focus on financial markets, and excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. They will also be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong foundational knowledge of information technology and interpersonal skills to liaise with other departments and people within the organization.
The Sales Manager will be responsible for:
- Developing a sales strategy to meet sales targets
- Negotiating sales, package discounts, and long-term contracts with new and existing clients
- Increasing our network and pool of clients
- Becoming fluent in all products and services offered by the company
- Preparing and delivering sales pitches and product demonstrations
- Ability to lead a customer through the sales process, determining needs, and closing the sale
- The ability to write reports and proposals
- Conducting in-depth research to identify market opportunities
- Gathering feedback from customers and providing after-sales support whenever required
- German-speaking native
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
- 8-10 years of experience in an IT sales department with a strong focus on financial markets
- Complete knowledge of the terminology used in the IT industry and financial markets
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Highly motivated
- Ability to handle stressful situations and manage deadlines
- A team player as well as ability to work independently
- Strong foundational knowledge in information technology, including hardware, software, and IT services
- Interpersonal skills to liaise with other departments and people within the organization
- Ability to meet goals being competitive and with results-driven attitude
