About the RoleThis is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned finance professional to take on a key leadership role within our organization. As a Financial Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for managing our financial accounting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS and Swiss Code of Obligations.
You will oversee the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements, manage accounts receivable and payable, record invoices and bank payments, and reconcile invoices and accounts.
Key Responsibilities- Preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with IFRS and Swiss Code of Obligations
- Management of financial accounting processes, including accounts receivable and payable
- Recording and processing of invoices and bank payments
- Reconciliation of invoices, accounts, debtors, and creditors
- Review and analysis of expense and credit card reports
- Supporting external audit procedures
- Preparation of periodic VAT statements (CH) and other mandatory tax forms
- Implementation of improvements to accounting and financial control processes and systems
- Responsibility for and involvement in ICS processes
The ideal candidate will have several years of commercial training followed by a federal certificate in finance and accounting, as well as 10+ years of proven work experience in accounting.
Fluency in English and German is a must, and very good knowledge of Swiss Code of Obligations (OR) and IFRS knowledge is essential. Experience in construction and infrastructure would be an asset but not mandatory.
What We OfferWe offer a competitive salary range of CHF 80,000 - 120,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package.
