Senior Financial Analyst

About the Role:
">- This position involves overseeing and managing various aspects of financial accounting, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely completion of tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
">- Manage accounts receivable and payable, maintaining accurate records and conducting regular reconciliations.
- Create and distribute invoices for accounts receivable, maintaining clear and concise communication with clients.
- Compile monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements in accordance with Swiss Code of Obligations guidelines, including analysis and statistical assessments.
- Submit VAT declarations periodically, calculate tax provision, and prepare tax returns, adhering to relevant regulations.
- Aid in preparing annual financial statements following IFRS standards, ensuring alignment with international best practices.
- Support year-end procedures and assist in audit preparations, providing necessary documentation and insights.
- Generate various financial reports, offering valuable insights into company performance.
- Handle day-to-day accounting duties, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
">- Hold a Swiss Federal Diploma in finance and accounting or equivalent qualification.
- Prior experience in a similar role is preferred, particularly within an international context.
- Demonstrate fluency in English and German, as these languages are predominantly used in communication.
- Be proficient in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel, to efficiently manage tasks and data.
- Familiarity with Swiss GAAP, regulatory requirements, and IFRS standards is advantageous, demonstrating a strong understanding of financial principles.
- Exhibit strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Demonstrate professionalism, discretion, and reliability in all interactions and work-related activities.
