Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Bank Analyst to join our team at Business & Finance Consulting. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting financial analysis and due diligence of Asian commercial banks, assessing corporate governance, anti-money laundering policies, and management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform in-depth financial analysis and due diligence of selected banks, including assessing corporate governance, anti-money laundering policies, and management capabilities.
  • Collect and research data and information on selected banks, utilizing various sources and methods.
  • Write comprehensive credit reports on analyzed financial institutions, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
  • Measure and assess corporate and lending risks, including market risk, credit risk, sovereign risk, and liquidity risk.
  • Prepare or assess financial projections, models, and business plans for selected financial institutions.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in finance, banking, or a relevant field, with a CFA degree being an asset.
  • At least five years of experience in conducting due diligence and analysis of corporate and/or financial institutions.
  • Solid understanding of corporate finance and investment banking principles.
  • Knowledge of the Asian financial/banking market is an asset.
  • Fluency in English is required, with strong analytical, communication, presentation, and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work in an international environment and flexibility to travel, including to challenging environments.
