About the Role:

The Director of Finance will be responsible for all financial and management accounting at Smarttech247. They will also directly manage the internal finance team and oversee finance operations in Romania, Poland, and the UK.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage financial and management accounting for the Group.
  • Lead the internal finance team and develop financial policies and controls.
  • Work with executives and directors to create budgets, forecasts, and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with listed company requirements, including disclosure and audit processes.
  • Implement financial management systems and processes to meet Group requirements.
  • Prepare group consolidations under IFRS and develop necessary procedures.
  • Manage the year-end audit process and deal with auditors.
  • Oversee financial operations in Romania, Poland, and the UK.

Requirements:

  • Senior level accountancy and managerial experience.
  • Knowledge of the industry and experience working in a listed company environment.
  • Ability to operate in a multi-country and currency environment.
  • Experience with Sage Cloud accounting system and ability to implement financial management systems.
  • Strong analytical, strategic, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage a small team.
