Aman is a luxury hotel operating company recognized globally for its exceptional service and unique experiences. As a Hotel Asset Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the Asset Management Directors in analyzing and optimizing the performance of our hotels.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Hotel Asset Manager to contribute to our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting financial analysis, designing visual analytics, creating business review presentations, and collaborating with hotel General Managers and their operating teams to drive performance improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Revenue & Marketing Strategy Analysis:
    • Collaborate with Asset Management Directors to assess and analyze hotel revenue and marketing strategies, pace, and forecasts, identifying opportunities for improvement and growth.
    • Conduct in-depth market research to evaluate competitors' performance and industry trends, providing valuable insights to enhance revenue generation.
  • Hotel Profit & Loss Analysis:
    • Review and analyze hotel Profit & Loss (P&L) forecasts to identify accuracy and areas of improvement and opportunities for cost optimization.
    • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to monitor revenue generation, cost structures, and profit margins improvement opportunities.
    • Present findings to Asset Management Directors, providing actionable insights and recommendations to enhance hotel performance.
  • Financial Modelling and Analytics:
    • Build and maintain financial models utilizing Excel & Power BI.
    • Generate meaningful and insightful reports that aid decision-making processes for the Asset Management team and other stakeholders.
  • Business Review Presentations:
    • Prepare comprehensive business review presentations based on financial and operational data for individual hotels and the overall portfolio.
    • Present these reports to key stakeholders, including senior management and investors, to communicate the financial performance and potential growth opportunities.
  • Asset Management Reviews & Collaboration with Hotel Teams:
    • Attend asset management reviews with hotel properties, working closely with Asset Management Directors and supporting corporate business units to evaluate and track performance against key performance indicators (KPIs).
    • Support the asset management team in the analysis and review of the monthly financial forecasting and annual operating budget process.
    • Facilitate communication between the Asset Management team and hotel teams to ensure alignment with company objectives.
  • Capital Project ROI Analysis & Ad Hoc Projects:
    • Support in financial modelling and evaluation of renovation, refurbishment, and capital improvement projects across the operating portfolio to ensure appropriate return on investment and payback periods.
    • Engage in various ad hoc asset management, finance, and investment-related projects, supporting the business in strategic decision-making and problem-solving.
Requirements
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field.
  • Experience:
    • Previous experience in financial analysis, asset management, or hotel operations.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in Excel, Power BI (Data modelling and report creation), and other data analysis tools.
    • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex financial data.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey insights to diverse audiences.
    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
    • Proactive, travel mobile, and able to work independently, while also collaborating effectively within a team.
