Design Manager Europe

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Manager Europe to join our team at Aman. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the design development process, supporting the implementation of Aman's standards and brand objectives, and providing technical services guidance.
Key Responsibilities- Design Development Coordination
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Project Consultants and Aman Corporate teams to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
- Assist in the early formulation and feasibility stages of a project, ensuring alignment with Aman's brand objectives.
- Technical Services Guidance
- Provide technical expertise to design and engineering consultant teams to develop approved project designs through to working drawings.
- Ensure adherence to Aman's brand standards and quality control measures.
- Project Coordination
- Develop and track project schedules, ensuring timely completion and effective resource allocation.
- Identify, resolve, and communicate project-related issues and resolutions.
- Reporting and Communication
- Prepare and submit regular project progress reports to the Director of Design & Technical Services.
- Accurately communicate project status and provide projections for all design aspects and program delivery.
- Education
- University degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
- Experience
- Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in design management, technical services, or a related field.
- Experience with coordinating consultants on large-scale developments, preferably in the luxury hotel and resorts sector.
- Skills
- Fluent in written and spoken English (additional languages desirable).
- Proficiency in AutoCad, SketchUp, Lumion, MS Office, and Adobe Suite.
- Familiarity with office management systems and procedures.
- Personal Qualities
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multi-national professional teams across multiple projects.
- Excellent communication skills and efficient transmission of instructions, feedback, and vision.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
