About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Project Management Lead to join our team in Herisau, Switzerland. As a key member of our R&D department, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of five project managers, overseeing the full lifecycle of projects, and driving innovation.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a team of project managers, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and high-quality results.
  • Implement standardized project management methodologies and tools to increase efficiency and consistency across teams.
  • Serve as the main point of contact between cross-functional teams, aligning project goals and facilitating smooth communication.
  • Manage resource allocation and project budgets, ensuring effective utilization of resources.
  • IDentify risks early, proactively address challenges, and create contingency plans to maintain project momentum.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, focused on customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of R&D leadership experience, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills for effective collaboration in a matrix organization.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on efficient project goal achievement.
  • Innovative thinker with a passion for delivering high-impact results.
  • Fluency in English and German is mandatory.
