Strategic Technical Consultant

Role Overview

As a Strategic Technical Consultant at HUBER+SUHNER, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our Communication Segment's Strategy & Business Development team. Your primary responsibility will be to define and evaluate new technical solutions, identifying opportunities for innovation and growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Know and understand the Lead Customers/Projects as well as the main product and service requirements for today and tomorrow.
• Identify new product/solutions opportunities and provide regular information on market and technology trends, dynamics, opportunities, and challenges in territories worldwide.
• Responsible for strategic solutions in areas of innovation, 3rd party product integration, and be initiator for mid- and long-term innovation ideas.
• Responsible to create business cases to justify new product/solution development, engage internal stakeholders, and help drive the development of new solutions to expand the offering/revenue defining requirements for product development projects in accordance with Sales and Technology.

Your Profile

We are seeking a customer-oriented and high-motivated individual who takes ownership. As a Strategic Technical Consultant, you will have excellent communication skills in an international environment, a deep understanding of the technologies and topologies used in the mobile communication network, and the ability to learn fast.

Requirements

• Higher education (Bachelor degree) in a technical field.
• Understanding of radio frequency, power, and optic transmission as well as installation experience (FTTA, Cell Site, etc.).
• Excellence in written and verbal English, German is an advantage.
• PDM and SAP skills.
• Ability to travel up to 20%.
