We are looking for a skilled Patient Relations Coordinator to join our team at Ayus Medical Basel. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and patient-focused environment.

About the Job

This role involves actively managing incoming inquiries through various channels, including phone calls, emails, and online bookings. You will be responsible for advising potential patients on our medical concept and collaborating closely with our medical team to optimize treatment schedules and capacity utilization.

You will also be responsible for sending treatment offers and ensuring consistent follow-up, as well as managing the entire booking process for confirmed new patients. Additionally, you will collaborate with our Director of Business Development to maintain the referral network and handle related patient inquiries.

Your key responsibilities will include appointment management, reception duties, documentation and data management, communication, technology use, continuous improvement, and quality standards. As a Patient Relations Coordinator, you will be an integral part of our patient coordination team and play a crucial role in ensuring high patient satisfaction.

Requirements
  • You have completed training as a secretary, receptionist, concierge, or guest relations officer, or equivalent.
  • You handle patient interactions professionally and kindly from the first contact to their discharge, tailoring your approach to individual needs.
  • Experience in the healthcare sector is a plus, but we welcome your curiosity to learn about it.
  • You are a responsible, flexible, and resilient individual with a well-groomed appearance and friendly, professional demeanor.
  • You are communicative, empathetic, and enjoy teamwork.
  • You thrive in a medical environment catering primarily to self-paying patients.
  • You are motivated, eager to learn, and open to new experiences.
  • You possess excellent German and English skills. French and other languages are an advantage.
