Payroll Specialist Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Specialist Team Lead to join our team at HR Talent House SA. This role is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to take on a leadership position and drive payroll excellence in a dynamic international setting.
Job OverviewThe successful candidate will be responsible for leading the coordination of the local payroll team, comprising 4 members. This involves overseeing payroll and personnel administration for approximately 900 employees at our Biel site and its subsidiaries in Langnau and Geneva. As the main point of contact, you will handle various inquiries related to social security, withholding taxes, pension funds, time tracking, and other relevant matters.
Responsibilities- Lead the coordination of the local payroll team and ensure seamless execution of payroll processes.
- Oversee payroll and personnel administration for 900+ employees across multiple locations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders regarding payroll-related queries.
- Handle payroll-related tasks, including insurance matters, while ensuring compliance with social security partners and authorities.
- Maintain and update employee records, manage employee changes, and perform year-end procedures.
- Contribute to projects aimed at optimizing payroll processes and systems, analyzing HR metrics, and preparing statistics and reports.
- Bachelor's degree in HR management, payroll, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in an international setting.
- Strong Excel skills and technical expertise in SAP HCM applications.
- Fluency in both spoken and written German, with very good English skills; knowledge of French is an asset.
- A service-oriented mindset with a hands-on approach, known for being proactive and precise in your work style.
CHF 80,000 - CHF 110,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
