Job Description

The Global Account Manager partners with international Industrial customers to secure their entire digital experience, solving critical challenges facing their secure environment.

This role drives company revenue and growth, connecting customers with solutions for every stage of threat prevention.

Your Impact

  1. You will own revenue expansion within Palo Alto Networks' largest clients within the Industry sector.
  2. You will drive and orchestrate complex sales cycles and work with our internal partners and teams to best serve the customer.
  3. Your consultative selling experience will identify business challenges and create solutions for our customers.
  4. You will understand the competitive landscape and customer needs to effectively position the portfolio of Palo Alto Networks solutions.
  5. You will create clear goals and complete accurate forecasting through developing a detailed territory plan.
  6. You will leverage prospect stories to create a compelling value proposition with insights into value for that specific account.
  7. You will stay updated on industry news and trends and how they affect Palo Alto Networks products and services.
  8. You will travel as necessary within your territory and to company-wide meetings.

Qualifications

Your Experience

  1. You will have experience and knowledge of SaaS-based architectures, ideally in a networking and/or security industry, with a preference for SASE technology.
  2. You will have experience working with global customers within the Industry sector, such as manufacturing or mining.
  3. You will have demonstrated experience selling complex solutions, value selling, and/or consultative sales techniques.
  4. You will have technical aptitude for understanding how technology products and solutions solve business problems.
  5. You will identify problems, review data, determine the root causes, and provide scalable solutions.
  6. You will cultivate relationships with our channel partners to bring a channel-centric go-to-market approach for our customers.
  7. You will demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the full sales cycle and the ability to follow a structured sales process.
  8. You will have the ability to take a holistic approach to problem solving by understanding the bigger picture and considering complex interrelationships and outcomes.
  9. You will have excellent time management skills and work with high levels of autonomy and self-direction.
  10. You will have proficiency in German and English language skills.
