Surval Montreux is a leading international girls' boarding school in Switzerland, renowned for its exceptional all-round education. The school offers a High School programme for Grades 8-12, alongside a French Language and Culture programme, a Winter Camp, and a Summer Camp.
As a Residential Support Officer at Surval Montreux, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe, orderly, and disciplined environment that fosters academic excellence and personal growth. You are responsible for providing support to the boarders, ensuring their well-being and happiness throughout their stay with us.
To be successful in this role, you must be enthusiastic about working with young people and have excellent communication skills. You should also be committed to upholding high standards of safety and discipline, while being approachable and empathetic towards the students.
This is a full-time position with live-in responsibilities, requiring weekend and evening work. You will need to be flexible and willing to go above and beyond to ensure the smooth operation of our boarding community.
Fluency in English is essential, and knowledge of French is an advantage. You must hold a European or Swiss passport or a Swiss residence permit. Please note that due to Brexit regulations, it is currently challenging to hire British citizens in such roles in Switzerland.
Salary: CHF 4,200 per month (approximately €3,800)
