The World Economic Forum is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Senior Governance and Operations Manager. This position will be responsible for driving transformation and ensuring the effective governance and operations of the YGL Foundation.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in governance, operations, and finance, with a proven track record of success in a similar role. They will be responsible for contributing to the Foundation's strategic priorities, ensuring efficient administrative processes, and coordinating the Foundation's budget and financial matters.

The Senior Governance and Operations Manager will also be responsible for guiding the Foundation's operations, finance, compliance, and legal matters, as well as serving as the administrative focal point for the YGL Foundation Board and Advisory Group.

Additionally, the successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to prioritize and focus on achieving results in a high-performing environment, and have a strong ability to treat confidential information with discretion.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the Foundation's strategic priorities and organizational transformation.
  • Ensure efficient administrative processes and data-driven approaches.
  • Coordinate and lead budget cycles and financial matters.
  • Serve as the administrative focal point for the YGL Foundation Board and Advisory Group.
  • Guide the Foundation's operations, finance, compliance, and legal matters.
  • Serve as the focal point for internal stakeholders: finance, legal, and other teams at the World Economic Forum.
  • Prepare progress updates for various stakeholders of the YGL Foundation.
  • Lead initiatives that contribute to the Foundation's continued goals of leveraging new technological tools to enhance performance.
  • Support the YGL Head with recruitment processes.

Requirements:

  • 7-10 years of professional experience.
  • A private-sector background is preferred.
  • Proven experience with data-analytics and strong qualitative and quantitative skills.
  • A relevant degree, such as business administration or finance.
  • Several years of experience with project management and coordination of initiatives involving many stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritize, focus, and achieve results in a high-performing environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to treat confidential information with discretion.
  • Fluency in the use of internal and external digital platforms and tools for project management and tracking.
