The Business Development Manager will be responsible for executing the go-to-market strategy and representing Unblu to customers and prospects. This includes laying the foundation for rapid and sustainable growth of the customer base and revenue streams.

Closer collaboration with all areas of the company, including partner management, pre-sales, the service area, product management, and marketing, is essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities:
  • Build and Manage Opportunity Pipeline: Develop and maintain a sustainable and growing pipeline of opportunities.
  • Drive Sales Cycle: Drive the complete sales cycle from lead generation to closing, both for new business and installed base business.
  • Partner Collaboration: Give input on possible new partners and support their onboarding process.
  • Customer Advocacy: Review, manage, and escalate requests and issues to resolution. Act as an advocate within Unblu to ensure timely addressal of customer requests and issues.
  • Representative: Represent Unblu at meetings, events, and webinars.
  • Client Partnership: Become the CEO of your clients, intimately understanding their business requirements, acting as a respected business partner.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Strong Business Acumen: Possess excellent commercial awareness and a deep understanding of the financial services sector.
  • Proven Sales Experience: Demonstrate proven success in client-facing software sales.
  • Network: Have an extensive network in the financial sector, preferably banking or postal services.
  • Tech Savvy: Be proficient in web technologies and digital channel setup.
  • Demonstrated System Demo Experience: Showcase experience in demonstrating systems.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in German and English, with French or Italian as a bonus.
  • Team Player: Possess outstanding interpersonal skills, be self-motivated, and an independent worker.
  • Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel primarily within Switzerland.
