Senior Biopharmaceutical Process Development Manager

Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for driving process development stages for liquid and lyophilized parenteral drug products of biologics, such as monoclonal antibodies, novel formats, ADCs, and LNPs, in compliance with internal and external standards. This includes owning the establishment of a phase-appropriate DP process development strategy, ensuring alignment with local and global MSAT organizations during development and implementation, and networking with partner units within the network to ensure strategic and technical alignment with overall Lonza strategy.
Key Responsibilities:- Leads a team of Group Heads and Scientists to develop and implement process development strategies for biologics.
- Owning the development of phase-appropriate DP process development strategies, ensuring alignment with local and global MSAT organizations.
- Optimally networks and liaises with partner units within the network to ensure strategic and technical alignment with overall Lonza strategy.
- Supports quality and commercial functions during audits, customer visits, and program acquisition.
- A PhD or MSc in Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, or a similar field. However, we also encourage individuals with equivalent experience to apply.
- Highly Experienced (10+ years) in the field of Pharmaceutical development of Biological Drug Products.
- Leadership experience in multi-tiered teams.
- Excellent communication skills in English, knowledge of German and French highly valuable.
Lonza offers a competitive salary range of $150,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive relocation package for eligible talents.
