CH10 - BJB Bank Julius Baer & Co. Ltd. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Messenger/ Facility Generalist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our mailroom and facilities.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Unpack, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages to various departments across our facilities.
- Collect, dispatch, and deliver internal and external mail, documents, and parcels in a timely manner.
- Operate the post shuttle between our internal post offices, ensuring efficient communication and collaboration.
- Manage the reception of express mail, handling registered letters, and coordinating with our central department in Zurich.
- Oversee DHL packaging and airwaybills, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Coordinate logistics transports, manage office supplies, and perform basic warehouse management tasks.
- Be responsible for general building maintenance, including minor repairs, troubleshooting, and equipment inspection.
- Supervise cleaning activities, conducting regular quality checks with our cleaning company.
- Participate in various departmental tasks, such as office moving, paper destruction, and administrative support.
- Manage access controls, including badge ordering and setup.
**Requirements**
- Swiss drivers' license
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early morning shifts
- Service-oriented with high integrity, loyalty, and team spirit
- Excellent organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective time management, with ability to meet deadlines and optimize routes
- Proficiency in Microsoft tools
- French mother tongue and good knowledge of English (B1 minimum)
- Proven experience in a similar role, with experience in the banking field a plus
- Swiss nationality or B/C work permit, with domicile in Switzerland
- Vocational training in vehicles, logistics, or industry areas, with federal certificate
