Job Description:

Kera Energy AG is seeking an experienced Financial Operations Manager to join our team in Zug. The successful candidate will be responsible for all operational financial activities required to support our supply chains in the logistics industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all financial transactions, including accounting, treasury, cash flow forecasting, and bookkeeping, to ensure smooth operations.
  • Act as the primary financial point of contact for customers, suppliers, and financial partners, providing expert advice and guidance.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, including project/ad-hoc, monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports, to inform business decisions.
  • Oversee all financial matters related to General and Administrative (G&A), Value-Added Tax (VAT), audit, tax, customs, and other regulatory agencies.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Operations to ensure optimized execution of business activities.
  • Identify and advise management on optimization opportunities to improve financial operations and outcomes.
  • Provide commercial and market information to management to support informed decision-making.
Requirements:
  • Desired functional and educational background in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field.
  • Desired industry background in logistics, petrochemical, or energy sector, with a focus on finance.
  • Excellent written and oral English language skills, with German language skills desirable.
  • Experience in processing financial transactions related to vessel, barge, and rail operations in the liquid bulk market is an asset.

    • Financial support to the operations team, including chartering, vetting, nomination, demurrage minimization, stowage plan optimization, and planning of various modes of transportation.
    • Trade Finance and Banking Operations, including credit line management, KYC, registrations, and risk management.
    • Commercial Business Support, including strategy development and execution, financial input, model development, scenario analysis, and market knowledge/research.
