Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced IT Project Manager to lead our technical projects and teams at Interactive Brokers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT infrastructure and operations, with a proven track record of managing complex projects and teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, and other stakeholders, to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, technical teams, and external partners.
  • Collaborate with the IT leadership team to develop and implement strategic plans for IT projects and initiatives.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, and develop contingency plans to ensure project continuity.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, resource plans, and schedules to ensure project deliverables are met.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve project management processes and methodologies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in IT project management, with a strong background in IT infrastructure and operations.
  • Proven track record of managing complex projects and teams, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand business needs and priorities.
  • Experience with project management software and tools, such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
  • Certifications in project management, such as PMP or PRINCE2, are a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with software development, system administration, or design and architecture to improve availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency.
  • Certifications in ITIL, COBIT, or other IT service management frameworks.
