The Role
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Head of Reception to join our team in Zurich. As a key member of our Client Experience department, you will be responsible for leading a team of receptionists and ensuring that our clients receive a first-class service. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading a team of five receptionists and a food and beverage coordinator, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Reception area, creating a professional and welcoming environment for our clients and business visitors.
- Overseeing the food and beverage service to our clients and business partners.
- Coordinating and scheduling meeting requests and maintaining the highest level of service to clients.
- Working with other departments to ensure seamless coordination and communication across the organization.
- Helping to organize events for clients.
- Developing and implementing reception policies and procedures to continually enhance the service to clients.
- Handling confidential and sensitive information with the utmost discretion.
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in reception management.
Your Profile
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with a strong background in hospitality or a related field. Your profile should include:
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a similar role or in the luxury sector.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and colleagues at all levels.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with an eye for detail.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations with calm and assurance.
- A professional and polished demeanor, reflecting the image and values of Pictet.
- German mother tongue and fluent in English; knowledge of French would be an advantage.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Strong team player.
- Resident in Switzerland.
