**Job Overview**
We are seeking a highly skilled Administrative & Accounting Assistant to join our team at Michael Page. This role is ideal for an organized and detail-oriented individual who can provide exceptional support to our clients.
**Salary**
The salary for this position is estimated to be around $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
**Key Responsibilities**
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing general administrative support, including handling incoming calls, emails, and correspondence, and directing them appropriately. They will also be responsible for organizing and maintaining the office filing system, preparing and editing documents, reports, and presentations, scheduling and coordinating meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
**Operations Management**
In addition to administrative tasks, the candidate will assist with operations management, including processing daily banking transactions, verifying and reconciling client accounts, monitoring loan applications, and updating client files.
**Office Management**
The successful candidate will also oversee office supplies inventory, manage office budgets, and assist with basic bookkeeping tasks, including invoice processing and expense reporting.
**Accounting Support**
They will assist with basic accounting tasks, such as preparing expense reports, data entry, and tracking payments, and support the financial team with managing records, tracking expenses, and liaising with external accountants.
**Required Skills and Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role in a financial institution;
- Full proficiency in English, fluency in French is an asset;
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and general office software;
- Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest level of confidentiality;
- Familiarity with basic accounting principles is important;
- Experience in a family office environment is advantageous.
