Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced EHS Specialist to join our team in Yverdon-les-Bains, Switzerland. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and environmental well-being of our employees, customers, and the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement EHS Policies and Procedures
    • Assist in defining the company's overall occupational health and safety policy to set objectives that are implemented at all levels of the company
    • Support the development of occupational health and safety and environmental policies and programs
  • Audit and Compliance
    • Audit all OHS and E processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
  • Training and Awareness
    • Carry out OHS & E training for employees and managers to ensure they understand their roles and responsibilities in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment
  • Risk Management
    • Conduct risk analysis and promote improvement measures to minimize hazards and prevent accidents
  • Incident Investigation
    • Record and investigate incidents and accidents to determine causes and action plans to prevent recurrence
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Advise on various OHS & E topics to employees and managers to ensure they understand their roles and responsibilities in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Diploma of safety engineer CFST or federal diploma of STPS specialist
    • Min 3 years experience as a EHS engineer in an industrial company
  • Knowledge and Skills
    • Knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO management systems
    • Knowledge of Swiss legislation (OSHA, environment) and related procedures
    • Knowledge of electrical risk and Ergonomics
    • Knowledge of security rules and access management a plus
    • Knowledge of European regulation (REACH, ROHS,...) a plus
    • Certification for transport of dangerous goods a plus
  • Language Skills
    • French fluent spoken and writing (C2)
    • English fluent spoken and writing (C1)
    • German beginner spoken and writing (A2) a plus
