EHS & Security Specialist - Production & Logistics

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced EHS Specialist to join our team in Vernier, Switzerland. As an EHS Specialist, you will be responsible for providing full EHS support to designated departments, partnering with functional managers to develop and implement local EHS strategies, and ensuring all EHS activities, processes, and programs are implemented following our EHS strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Partnering: Be a main contact with specific departments and act as a backup for other departments.
  • Site Projects & Processes: Manage EHS site projects in scope, be responsible for several EHS processes for the whole site, and ensure their implementation.
  • Risk Assessment: Lead risk assessments and manage associated documentation, define, and follow action plans with partners.
  • Investigation: Lead and coach incident, injury, and complaint investigations, elaborate action plans, and share incidents with other sites.
  • Audits/Inspections: Organize and participate in regular external/internal EHS inspections/audits, report findings, and follow up on their correction.
  • Communication/Training: Develop and conduct EHS trainings when required, including new comers, chemical risk, EHS discussions, Permit To Work, and Lock Out Tag Out.
  • EHS Team: Ensure a strong collaboration with EHS colleagues, manage all EHS documentation required, and create, improve, and track their implementation.
Requirements
  • Academic Background: University degree in chemistry, engineering, EHS, or other related field.
  • Swiss Diploma "Ingénieur sécurité MSST".
  • At least 3 years of working experience in the chemical/manufacturing industry.
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in the EHS specialization.
  • ATEX knowledge is essential.
  • Experience with HAZOP/Process safety is a plus.
  • Fluency in French and English.
