EHS & Security Specialist - Production & Logistics

manage, train, audit and improve themRisk assessment:Lead risk assessment (workstations & ergonomics) and manage associated documentation and define/follow the action plan with partnersAssume the role of EHS Coordinator in the Crisis Management organisationInvestigation:Lead and coach incident, injury and complaint investigations (5Why/Cause tree) with appropriate partners, elaborate action plan and share incidents with others sitesPromote the reporting of EHS incidents during daily operational meetingsAudits/inspections:Organize and participate in regular external/internal EHS inspections/audits with department owners; report findings and follow-up their correctionCommunication/training:Develop and conduct EHS trainings when required (done with other EHS Specialists): new comers, chemical risk, EHS discussions, Permit To Work and Lock Out Tag Out, etcEHS team:Ensure a strong collaboration with EHS colleagues, especially those in charge of others Departments in order to promote partnership, pool solutions, ally forces and move forward as one TEAMManage all EHS documentation required (create, improve and track their implementation)Academic BackgroundUniversity degree in chemistry, Engineering, EHS or other related fieldSwiss Diploma “Ingénieur sécurité MSST”Chargé de sécurité incendie is a plusAt least 3 years of working experience in chemical/manufacturing industry5 to 7 years of experience in the EHS specialisationATEX knowledge is essentialExperience with HAZOP/Process safety is a plusFluency in French and EnglishOur Benefits (for Vernier, Switzerland):Healthcare supportCareer development opportunitiesPaid Time Off and family leaveRetirement planSport and leisure clubsCompany shopStaff restaurant At Givaudan, you contribute to delightful taste and scent experiences that touch people’s lives.
