The Cartier Zurich boutique is seeking an experienced Operations Director to join our team. As a member of our management team, you will play a critical role in driving sales growth and operational efficiency.
As Operations Director, you will be responsible for leading a team of professionals who are dedicated to achieving sales ambitions and operational efficiency objectives, while strictly respecting compliance obligations.
Key responsibilities include developing and deploying the boutique's operational action plan, conducting quarterly progress reviews, and proposing relevant and innovative adjustments.
You will also be responsible for carrying out regular detailed analyses of KPIs for efficiency and sound operational management, collecting and circulating best business practices within the network, suggesting improvements and embodying change management and our transformation challenges.
Additional responsibilities include organizing and managing the flow of goods and stock in compliance with company and Group procedures, ensuring that inventories, audits, and cash closures/reconciliations are carried out correctly and produce impeccable results.
You will anticipate needs and organize the receipt, storage, and restocking of goods and consumables to maintain the necessary stock levels and facilitate access to employees, warning of risks of stock-outs in relation to results, seasonality of activity, and sales projections.
Other key responsibilities include promoting the right level of collaboration and mutual assistance in the management of logistics flows with other outlets in the market and other subsidiaries, organizing and enforcing in-store collection procedures such as cash register opening/closing, collections, sales recording, returns, and exchanges in strict compliance with procedures.
You will train teams, communicate regularly, and ensure strict compliance with financial and tax procedures in all day-to-day operations, in line with our compliance and anti-money laundering obligations.
Required qualifications for this role include a Master's degree or equivalent, 10+ years Retail experience in managing and developing large teams, strong leadership, communication and management skills with a flair for business and customers.
