Executive Director, Global Safety Strategy

About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Executive Director to lead our Global Safety Strategy team at Organon. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our safety strategy, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and driving business growth through effective risk management.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Implement Safety Strategy
- Lead the development of our global safety strategy, aligning with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Implement and maintain a robust safety management system, ensuring compliance with ICH/GVP/GCP regulations.
- Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including ICH/GVP/GCP, and maintain a strong relationship with regulatory agencies.
- Develop and implement procedures for managing regulatory interactions, including inspections and audits.
- Risk Management
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential risks to patients, employees, and the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective risk management and business continuity.
- Leadership and Team Management
- Lead and manage a team of safety professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of team members.
- Communication and Collaboration
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including employees, customers, and regulatory agencies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and alignment.
Requirements
- Medical Degree
- A medical degree, ideally with clinical experience in a relevant field.
- Experience in Pharmacovigilance and Risk Management
- At least 10 years of experience in pharmacovigilance and risk management, with a strong understanding of ICH/GVP/GCP regulations.
- Leadership and Management Experience
- Proven leadership and management experience, with a track record of success in leading teams and driving business growth.
- Communication and Collaboration Skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
