Job Description
We are seeking an experienced IT Consultant POS & Retail services to join our team at our headquarters in Bad Zurzach. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and refining demand requirements, developing technical solutions, and managing internal and external application development resources. The role requires strong expertise in SAP S4 HANA Sales and Distribution, Point of Sales, and Consumer Loyalty solutions.
Your Responsibilities
- Analyze and refine demand requirements provided by Business Relationship Manager and business units for delivering the necessary POS & Retail functionality to support Direct to Consumer D2C Omnichannel services for the business
- Develop rationale and perform scoping assessments to determine technical feasibility of solution
- Identify value creation opportunities enabled by combining business insights with emerging or existing technologies
- Consult the business functions on feasibility and benefits of technology innovations
- Manage and coordinate internal and external application development resources as part of projects or software changes
- Develop detailed and comprehensive requirement specifications that will determine the estimate of cost, time, and resources
- Liaise with the service development team (external partner) to develop and assess technical solutions, aligns with Enterprise Architect and Integration Tower
- Support the development of project estimates (costs, timeline) for the development of the technical solution as an input for the overarching business case
- Coordinate test activities incl. user acceptance tests with Business Relationship Manager and business units
Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a Master's or Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent, fluent verbal and written communication skills in English (must have), German (nice to have), and several years of industry or consulting experience in the IT environment. Strong expertise in SAP S4 HANA Sales and Distribution, Point of Sales, and Consumer Loyalty solutions is essential. Additionally, the candidate should have exposure to the retail and/or fashion industry, excellent MS Office skills, and the ability to negotiate with external providers.
