About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data & MLOps Engineer to join our team at Machine Learning Architects Basel (MLAB). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and operating reliable data and machine learning solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consult with clients to understand their data and AI needs and develop tailored solutions.
  • Design and implement data pipelines, machine learning models, and reliability engineering practices to ensure seamless data and AI operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data and AI solutions into clients' existing infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in data engineering, machine learning, and reliability engineering to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in data engineering, machine learning, or software engineering.
  • Experience with major data and AI platforms, such as Snowflake, Databricks, and Dataiku.
  • Familiarity with dataops, devops, and mlops best practices, as well as topics such as data mesh, data lake/warehouses, and reliability engineering.
  • Strong understanding of data engineering, machine learning, and generative AI models, frameworks, and tools.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
