Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our team, responsible for driving and overseeing the strategic direction, development, and implementation of data solutions. As a key player in our organization, you will collaborate with stakeholders to identify business challenges and opportunities, and then leverage data analytics to derive valuable insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Analytics and Insights: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, business leaders, and external partners to understand data requirements and align data solutions with organizational goals.
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Engage with stakeholders to understand data requirements and align data solutions with organizational goals.
- Technology Evaluation and Implementation: Evaluate emerging technologies and tools to enhance data processing, analysis, and visualization capabilities.
- Data Architecture and Governance: Lead the design and implementation of robust data architectures, ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Key Qualifications
- 4+ years of related experience in data warehousing, data pipelining, and other big data technologies.
- Experience with the Azure Data Stack, including Synapse, Data Factory, and Databricks.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Nice to Have Qualifications
Cruise or hotel/hospitality industry knowledge/experience is a plus, but not necessary.
