Experienced Trust Officer

The Trust Officer will play a vital role in ZEDRA, overseeing the administrative responsibilities for a portfolio of trusts, companies, and other wealth structures. This position requires exceptional organizational and communication skills to ensure first-class service is provided to clients, intermediaries, and stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day administration of various entities, including incorporation and liquidation of companies, creation and termination of trusts, drafting minutes.
  • Potential client contact, attendance at client meetings with relationship managers.
  • Processing expense payments and trust distributions.
  • Monitoring and assisting with invoice payments.
  • Dealing with formalities related to bank-account openings and maintaining good relationships with banks and other third parties on behalf of clients.
  • Preparation of resolutions, minutes of boards of directors and minutes of general meetings, responses to KYC requests.
  • Preparation of memorandums and notes on specific transactions and important events related to the life of trusts.
  • Set up and onboarding of new clients in the administration system; document fulfillment for KYC and FATCA/ES and CRS related matters, onboarding, preparation of closing binders.
  • Risk management process through the identification and reporting of specific risks or risk trends to Senior Management and meeting all governance, controls, and compliance requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policy and procedures.

Requirements and Expectations

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Excellent team player, autonomous, and proactive.
  • Fluent level of English required.
  • Minimum 5-6 years of experience in a similar position in the trust industry.
  • Experience in dealing with UK res/non dom clients would be beneficial.
  • Commitment to high-quality professional service levels and a desire to get involved in all elements of the lifecycle of structures and administration.

Prior experience in a compliance role is a plus.
