Risk Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Specialist to join our team at KPMG. As a key member of our financial services practice, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to our clients on risk management and banking transformation services.
Key Responsibilities- Support and lead projects in risk management, including analyzing and challenging processes, and considering regulatory requirements and market practice.
- Build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to help clients identify, measure, manage, and monitor their risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide multidisciplinary services to clients.
- Master's or PhD in a quantitative discipline, banking and finance, or economics.
- 4-10 years of professional experience in banking or consulting, with a focus on risk management.
- Strong analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and solution-focused attitude.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office software suite.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build long-lasting relationships and work in a team-oriented environment.
- Project and people management skills.
- Experience in model development and/or model validation is a plus.
- Coding experience in Python or R is a plus.
- Business-fluent in English, with German or French language skills beneficial.
