Taxation Expert for Investment Funds

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Financial Services Tax team at KPMG AG. The successful candidate will have a strong background in taxation and fund accounting, with a minimum of five years of experience in a similar role.
About the RoleThis position involves working on a wide range of tax advisory and compliance topics, including fund tax reporting, tax structuring, and withholding taxes. The ideal candidate will be able to analyze complex tax issues, plan and coordinate tax reporting projects, and manage deadlines effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze the taxation of Swiss and foreign investment funds and their investors;
- Plan, coordinate, and manage annual Swiss tax reporting for foreign funds with clients and international KPMG member firms;
- Assist with calculating taxable income for Swiss tax purposes for foreign investment funds using KPMG's tax reporting technology and publish tax values on the rate list of the Swiss Federal Tax Administration;
- Support clients with tax accounting of Swiss investment funds for income from underlying fund investments;
- Manage project-related tasks such as deadline management, controlling, risk management, and process optimizations;
- Collaborate with IT specialists to improve automation and digitization of tax reporting processes.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in economics or accounting;
- Minimum five years of professional experience in fund accounting, tax reporting, or a related field;
- Strong project management and coordination skills;
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities;
- Proficient in English and German languages;
- Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software applications;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
