**About the Role**
In this challenging position as an Air Traffic Flow and Capacity Management and Environment System Architect at Skyguide, you will leverage your expertise in the Air Traffic Management industry to design and develop innovative solutions for our clients.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Design and implement solutions for all environment, meteorological, and ATFCM functions of related system components, including coordination and planning of software integrations both internally and via third-party applications.
- Define, review, and validate the short, mid, and long-term target architectures of Skyguide's application landscape as a member of the System Architecture Board.
- Design, develop, and validate solution prototypes in a variety of environments to certify the accuracy and viability of designs and implementations.
- Model, maintain, and document all architectural artefacts and promote optimal levels of communication.
- Support Environment and ATFCM related product owners and subject matter experts to understand the domains needs and design appropriate solutions to fulfill those needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of systems and services.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and improvement.
**Requirements**
- Bachelor of Information Technology/Computer Science or equivalent.
- 10+ years of software engineering experience in a similar role in designing or developing application systems.
- Held an architectural design role, preferably system architect with 5+ years' experience in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
- Proficient in English written and orally, good command in French is a plus.
