Air Traffic Management Systems Architect

In this role as an ATFCM and Environment System Architect, you will leverage your expertise in the Air Traffic Management industry to design and develop innovative solutions for Skyguide's application landscape.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement solutions for environment, meteorological, and ATFCM functions of related system components, ensuring seamless integration and coordination.
- Collaborate with the System Architecture Board to define, review, and validate short, mid, and long-term target architectures for Skyguide's application landscape.
- Develop and validate solution prototypes in various environments to ensure accuracy and viability of designs and implementations.
- Model, maintain, and document architectural artefacts, promoting optimal communication and collaboration.
- Support Environment and ATFCM product owners and subject matter experts in understanding domain needs and designing appropriate solutions.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in software engineering and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).
- Bachelor of Information Technology/Computer Science or equivalent.
- 10+ years of software engineering experience in a similar role, with a focus on designing or developing application systems.
- Proven experience in architectural design roles, preferably as a System Architect with 5+ years' experience in Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in English written and oral, and good command of French.
Geneva, Switzerland. Flexible work arrangement, with a minimum of 80-100% work commitment.
