Skyguide System Architect: Designing the Future of Air Traffic Management

We are seeking an experienced System Architect to join our team at Skyguide, a leading provider of air traffic management solutions. As a System Architect, you will play a critical role in designing and developing our application systems, ensuring they meet the needs of our stakeholders and are aligned with our company's vision.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Development: Design solutions for all environment, meteorological, and ATFCM functions of related system components, including coordination and planning of software integrations both internally and via third-party applications.
- Architecture and Planning: Define, review, and validate the short, mid, and long-term target architectures of Skyguide's application landscape as a member of the System Architecture Board.
- Prototyping and Validation: Design, develop, and validate solution prototypes in a variety of environments to certify the accuracy and viability of designs and implementations.
- Documentation and Communication: Model, maintain, and document all architectural artefacts and promote optimal levels of communication.
- Collaboration and Support: Support Environment and ATFCM related product owners and subject matter experts to understand the domains' needs and design appropriate solutions to fulfill those needs.
- Education: Bachelor of Information Technology/Computer Science.
- Experience: 10+ years of software engineering experience in a similar role in designing or developing application systems.
- Architectural Experience: Held an architectural design role, preferably as a System Architect with 5+ years' experience in Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).
- Language Skills: Proficient in English, both written and orally. Good command of French is a plus.
