Regional Operations Director HR

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Regional Head to lead our HR Operations team in Europe. This role will be responsible for managing the employee lifecycle, talent acquisition, and support to business leaders on performance management and employee relations.
The successful candidate will ensure compliance with labour laws and regulations, administer payroll and benefits, and drive continuous process improvement. As a key member of the HR Business unit, this individual will report directly to the Head of HR and work closely with other European offices.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Regional HR Europe team in its day-to-day activities
- Supervise and coach team members, ensuring knowledge transfer across teams
- Ensure compliance with local labour laws and stay up-to-date on legislation changes
- Optimize HR processes and tasks related to the employee lifecycle for efficiency
- Administer all HR operations processes, systems, and documentation
- Manage external providers and budgets related to HR operations
- Address complex HR operational concerns and act as the escalation point prior to the Head of HR
- Provide advice and guidance to employees on HR matters
- Implement and drive process, policy, and document upgrades
Requirements
- A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in HR Operations or a related field, with increasing levels of responsibility
- Leadership skills with experience in leading and guiding a team
- Proven track record of managing projects relating to process, systems, and control improvements
- Strong interpersonal skills for effectively supporting and advising employees and businesses on HR matters
- Effective communication and presentation skills for collaborating with stakeholders across different functions and seniority levels
- Experience coaching junior members and providing proactive feedback
- Proficiency in English required; proficiency in German preferred

Estimated Salary Range: €80,000 - €120,000 per annum
