Job Overview:

In this strategic role, you will oversee the management and direction of direct sales into Regional Accounts, collaborating closely with a dynamic team of Inside Regional Account Managers. Reporting directly to the Territory Sales Director for Switzerland is essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership:
    • Foster a positive work environment by leading by example and motivating your Sales Team
    • Develop and coach your team members to reach and surpass their performance goals
    • Educate your colleagues on cross-selling and up-selling strategies to enhance overall sales effectiveness
    • Determine and communicate clear sales quotas to your team
    • Promote your team members' professional growth and development to become successful Field Sales Representatives/ Regional Account Managers
  • Sales Performance:
    • Achieve quarterly and annual revenue objectives
    • Provide accurate and reliable forecasting to your supervisor on a regular basis
    • Help your team develop a structured approach to categorize assigned accounts and facilitate seamless handovers to Regional Account Managers
  • Customer Engagement:
    • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including decision-makers, influencers, and partners
    • Establish and maintain productive working relationships with designated Technical Sales Engineers, Consulting Professionals, and their management
    • Collaborate with Fortinet's marketing team to design, propose, and execute targeted campaigns focused on driving revenue growth within specific customer segments and engineering teams.
  • Business Alignment:
    • Partner with relevant distributors and suppliers to propel the territory's business forward
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for information exchange between executive management and other stakeholders
    • Ensure alignment and coordination with Channel account managers
