We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Trust Officer to join our team at Capital Trustees AG in Switzerland.
About the RoleThis is a senior position requiring strong knowledge of trust instruments, its application and benefits, as well as excellent English language skills. As a trusted fiduciary expert, you will be responsible for managing a mix portfolio of structures for internationally oriented clients and entrepreneurial groups.
You will develop working relationships with clients, intermediaries, and internal contacts to maximise client retention and work directly with end-clients, their lawyers, tax advisers, bankers, accountants, registered agents, and other third parties to ensure the proper administration of the structures.
You will also implement fiduciary solutions in cooperation with legal and tax advisors, ensure financial and non-financial targets are met, take part in events as a speaker if needed, provide support to the Legal and Compliance Office, and stay up-to-date with regulations and trends in the industry.
Requirements- A minimum of 5 years' experience preferably in trustee companies with international clientele exposure or alternative experience in private departments of legal firms or wealth planning in banking institutions.
- Strong knowledge of trust instruments, its application, and benefits.
- Good understanding of relevant laws of the local jurisdiction.
- Excellent English language skills, knowledge of German is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal skills combined with an independent working style.
- Well-organised and ability to deal with conflicting demands under pressure.
- An outgoing personality and confident to speak to end-clients.
- Capacity to understand both clients' and our firm's needs.
- A team player, open-minded, and pragmatic.
- Tertiary education or equivalent qualification preferred.
As a Senior Trust Officer at Capital Trustees AG, you will enjoy a competitive salary of approximately CHF 120,000 - CHF 150,000 per annum, depending on your experience and qualifications.
