About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Analog IC Design Engineer to join our team at IC Resources. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for implementing analog components for our leading-edge ultra-low power ICs and participating in the integration of these components into top-level IC designs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Feasibility Studies and Architecture Definitions: Participate in feasibility studies and architecture definitions of new products to ensure alignment with our company's goals and objectives.
  • Low-Power Analog IP Blocks Development: Develop low-power analog IP blocks, including specification, schematic, and layout design, as well as Spice simulation to ensure optimal performance.
  • Block Integration and Verification: Contribute to the integration of analog components into complex mixed-signal System-on-Chip (SoC) designs, and generate detailed specifications and verification plans to ensure seamless integration.
  • Lab Evaluations and Characterizations: Evaluate and characterize IC components in the lab to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Team Leadership and Support: Lead small teams on sub-projects and provide support to the production test development and final circuit qualification processes.
  • Design Methodology and Flow Improvements: Contribute to design methodology and design flow improvements to ensure our design processes are efficient and effective.
Requirements
  • Education: A Bachelor or Master degree in electrical engineering, microelectronics, or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years of analog IC design experience, including schematic, layout, and simulation.
  • Skills: A thorough understanding of semiconductor physics and IC processes, as well as good English written and verbal communication skills.
Desirable Skills
  • Project Leadership: Experience leading project activities and managing teams.
  • Mixed Signal Simulations: Experience with mixed signal simulations and lab measurements and characterization equipment.
  • Scripting Languages: Familiarity with scripting languages and digital design.
  • Language Skills: Knowledge of French is an asset.
