Vision Systems Engineer

The Vision Systems Engineer Fill Finishing is responsible for the installation and maintenance of automated vision inspection systems, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and implement automated vision inspection systems for fill finishing processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate vision systems with existing manufacturing processes.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals, technical specifications, and test protocols.
- Conduct training and support for users on vision system operation and maintenance.
- Perform quality control and assurance activities, including testing and validation of vision systems.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of vision system components.
- Participate in project planning and execution, including development of project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with regulatory affairs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Optical, Mechanical, Electrical, Biomedical, or Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in software development and vision system integration.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry, particularly in fill finishing processes.
- Knowledge of GMP and regulatory requirements, including USP < 1790 >.
- Proficiency in programming languages, including MATLAB, Python, and C++.
- Experience with vision system software, including machine learning and computer vision algorithms.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
