Senior Customer Compliance Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Manager to join our team at SR Technics Group. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring that our engine maintenance operations meet the highest standards of quality and compliance with customer policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee engine maintenance activities to ensure quality and compliance with customer requirements, focusing on US customers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Operations, and Quality, to develop and implement process improvements, policy revisions, and performance evaluations to meet customer needs.
  • Coordinate with Engineering to recommend work scopes in accordance with customer-specific technical operations policies, programs, and procedures.
  • Conduct engine inspections and outgoing inspections to ensure work performed meets customer orders and quality standards.
  • Liaise with customers to make decisions on part replacements and exchanges based on technical and financial aspects.
  • Review and document the condition of removed hardware as per customer directives and specific requirements, conducting scrap reviews as needed.
  • Coordinate the management and review of invoices, commercial, and TAT-related topics during shop visits to ensure alignment with customer expectations.
  • Verify that maintenance data and documentation is accurate and compliant with customer specifications.
  • Perform timely in-process assessments to ensure maintenance performed is compliant with customer requirements.

About You

We are looking for an independent worker with proven ability to facilitate cross-functional teams. You should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to deal with and make decisions on material of multi-million CHF value.

  • Ability to effectively plan and oversee projects to ensure timely delivery.
  • Strong ability to interpret and comprehend engine technical documents.
  • Ability to properly manage highly sensitive and confidential information effectively.
  • Must be able to assume high-level responsibility and demonstrate sound judgment.
  • Knowledge of US airline business processes, operational policies, and procedures preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the MRO or related Aviation business.
  • Knowledge of CFM56-7B Engine Maintenance.
  • Proficiency in English (business fluent).
  • Suitable Master's degree or MBA required.
  • Required: at least 10 years in aviation, preferably in the US aviation industry.
  • Experience with engine maintenance, engineering, or quality assurance function as well as cross-functional process knowledge.
