Job Requirements
  • To study transactional compliance plans and document applicable regulations and standards.
  • Preparation of compliance documents for specific projects with lists of impacted items from the TRS matrix.
  • Work with suppliers to ensure that parts / assemblies manufactured by them meet the compliance requirement of the project.
  • Collect and compile the documents / certificates for the project and upload the central repository.
  • Collaborate with Design team on regular basis and initiate the improvement actions.
  • Adept the best practices from other business and incorporate.
  • Schedule the meetings with other teams to ensure compliance is met.
Job Specifications
  • BE/ ME in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering with 3-7 years of experience in product compliance with various product regulatory or certification agencies.
  • Knowledge about the necessity of international certifications like IEC, IECEx, etc and other country regulatory certifications like CSA, UL, TUV, Intertek, CE marking, etc.
  • Basis knowledge in the various directives for the EU requirements for the CE marking.
  • Basis design Knowledge in Power equipment like Steam Turbine, Generator and its accessories.
  • Basis Knowledge on Low Voltage Directive, EMI/EMC, Machinery Safety Directives (MD) and PED (Pressure Equipment Directives) is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge about energy efficiency requirements for various products and the corresponding labeling & standard requirements existing in different parts of the world.
  • Basis knowledge in understanding engineering documents and drawings.
  • Overall knowledge of various sectors like Product safety, Hazardous location, Energy efficiency and other material requirements like REACH, RoHS and WEEE directives.
