About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Credit Portfolio Manager to join our team at CH10 - BJB Bank Julius Baer & Co. Ltd. in Zürich. As a leading global wealth manager, we are expanding our credit portfolio management activities and capabilities, and we need a skilled professional to lead and drive forward a wide range of initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and conduct ad-hoc and recurring credit portfolio analyses to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Take the operational lead on projects related to credit portfolio management, including the development of policies and frameworks.
  • Drive the continuous enhancement of the credit policy landscape from a portfolio management perspective, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide project management and subject matter support to the entire credit portfolio management team on a wide range of topics, including business development and risk management.
  • Identify regulatory and market trends and proactively provide suggestions to advance the credit portfolio roadmap.
  • Support the management in administrative and business-related matters, including the preparation and review of presentations and ad-hoc research.
  • Interact with a broad range of stakeholders within the organization, including Credit Risk Management, Finance, and Regulatory Management Office, on project-related matters.
Requirements
  • Bachelor or Master degree in business administration, finance, economics, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role, preferably within the banking industry.
  • Any knowledge of or experience in the lombard credit business is a plus.
  • Strong conceptual skills and quantitative understanding.
  • Strong MS Excel skills, with knowledge of SQL, R, Python, or similar.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality results under pressure.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in English and German.
