Research Associate in Genomics

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Research Associate to join our Genomics Core Technology Platform within the 360 Labs Initiative. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving drug discovery projects forward by utilizing advanced bulk and/or single-cell Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) technologies.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, design, and execute experiments to develop, optimize, and validate both routine and customized bulk and/or single-cell NGS approaches.
- Ensure the continued production of high-quality research data by performing regular quality control of NGS data and troubleshooting of related NGS instrumentation.
- Embrace a continuous learning mindset by actively engaging with the scientific literature to stay abreast of emergent technologies/approaches in the genomics field.
- A Master's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field, with at least 3-5 years of professional experience focused on bulk and/or single-cell NGS methods.
- Proven, hands-on practical experience in carrying out diverse NGS workflows, including single-cell dissociation, RNA/DNA extraction, library preparation, and sequencing.
- Familiarity with the software, tools, and resources commonly used for quality control, storage, and analysis of NGS data.
