Research Scientist Biophysics in Lead Discovery

We are seeking a highly motivated Research Associate to join our Lead Discovery team in Small Molecule Research (SMR). As a Research Associate, you will be embedded in a highly cross-functional drug discovery environment where you will establish and employ biophysical and biochemical assays to drug discovery projects for neurodegenerative disorders such as Alzheimer's disease and related proteinopathies.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and perform biophysical and biochemical assays to characterize the interaction of antibodies, peptides, small molecules, or other molecular entities with proteins or protein aggregates.
- Apply biophysical technologies such as Surface Plasmon Resonance or Biolayer Interferometry to study proteins, protein complexes, or aggregates.
- Scout and implement new technologies to support drug discovery projects.
- Nurture trustful relationships and effectively collaborate with internal and external partners.
- You have completed an apprenticeship or have a bachelor/master degree in biophysics, biochemistry, or a relevant life science field.
- You bring interest and expertise in automation, data analysis, and the application of a large spectrum of technologies in biophysical and biochemical assays.
- You thrive in a dynamic, inclusive environment which gives you full accountability for your own contributions and development.
