About the Location:
Located on the shores of Lake Geneva, Four Seasons Hotel des Bergues Geneva offers breathtaking views of the lake and the surrounding Alps. With its rich history dating back to 1834, this hotel has been a favorite among sophisticated travelers and world leaders. Our guests can unwind with a treatment at our rooftop Spa, enjoy Italian cuisine at Michelin-starred Il Lago, and then relax in their Pierre-Yves Rochon–designed room.
BASIC PURPOSE:
The Director of Food and Beverage provides leadership and management for the Food and Beverage Division. In collaboration with various operational departments, she/he ensures the optimal management of the department, leading to the long-term growth and profitability of the division and the hotel.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and control all Food and Beverage activities, including Restaurant Il Lago, Restaurant Izumi, Bar des Bergues, Room Service, Banquets, Stewarding, Kitchen, Pastry, and Staff Restaurant.
- Manage a team of around 140 people, ensuring their development and growth within the department.
- Monitor the profitability of the various Food and Beverage services, maintaining compliance with procedures and quality criteria.
- Ensure the health and safety standards of the division are met, working closely with PWT standards.
- Act as Head of Division and member of the Planning Committee, taking full responsibility for the mission.
Requirements:
- Qualified and experienced in the field of service, with excellent team spirit and presentation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to meet the expectations of a high-end clientele.
- Strong organizational and managerial skills to manage the day-to-day team and develop the skills of each team member.
